I’ve had CarloFeliciano.com for almost 2 years now, but all I really had on there was a brochure website advertising copywriting services. I haven’t been taking copywriting clients for ages now since I’ve completely moved on to other ventures, but I just didn’t get around to taking the site down and putting something new up there.
Well, a month or two ago the hosting company that I was originally using suspended my site because I haven’t paid yet. So I decided that now was the right time to put up a new site and start from the beginning again. Which brings us to right now.
What’s going to be under here? To tell you the truth, I have absolutely no idea.
I considered using it to be my personal blog, but I realized that business contacts will come across this site if they Google my name — and I’m not really comfortable with them finding out all the skeletons I have in my closet 
Besides, I already have a personal blog that nobody really knows about, and those are where the REAL thoughts of a madman reside.
At the same time, I don’t want to be 100% business, 100% of the time. That’s just boring, and personally I won’t have the energy to keep updating it. Yes, I think about business about 85% of the time, and I’m (laid back) with my mind on my money and my money on my mind. But knowing myself, I just wouldn’t be able to sustain regularly writing about work like my buddy Dave does at Davadrian.com (I’m linking with the hopes that you get the pingback.. Oh I’m a sly devil) does; I’m not really that smart, and I have enough writing to do for the business’ blog.
So I decided to make this site a midpoint of both. I might post about work-related stuff in here every now and then, but at the same time there will be casual stuff going on here. Pictures, thoughts, opinions, whatever. Wanna talk sports? I’ll openly bash the Boston Celtics here. Wanna talk politics? Sorry, but I’m keeping it rated-PG around here — the rated-R stuff, well, that’s saved for Twitter. If you can find it
The theme? Well, for some reason I’m really a huge fan of minimalist designs. Maybe one of these days I’ll find a snazzier template, but for now? This will do.
